The company who helped to restore London’s Southbank have just finished the renovation of the long abandoned East Wing and theatre of the iconic Alexandra Palace. Leaving parts of the abandoned wall exposed, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios have kept original surfaces in a state of “arrested decay” as they call it. The renovation is a beautiful blend of old and new, and soon it will be back hosting the events it was built for.

India has approved a Hyperloop system between Mumbai and Pune, in a bid to make it the world’s first Hyperloop transport system. If it goes ahead, it will connect the two cities, which are 100 miles apart, in just 35 minutes.

Studio Gang has completed a stunning, chequered tower on the banks of the Hudson River, which reflects the sunlight. Hanging over the High Line, the firm created the fractured glass in an attempt to prevent blocking light and views from the inside by following the path of sunlight. Sat on 40 Tenth Avenue, they named the tower the Solar Carve Tower, after the process which the tower uses.
